Being homosexual, bisexual, heterosexual is all the same to me. I don't really care what you are because I don't judge. I have friends of all races, religions, and sexual preferences and each one of them has something special to offer. I think the video we watched in class was horrible. They claim they are Gods children and are doing his work but obviously did not read the bible. In the bible it does mention homosexuality but it also says God is not arrogant, rude or boastful and that is actually what those people in that video were being. It says in the bible God loves everyone so why is there still discrimination or hatred to certain people. It seems like the people in the novel were treating homosexuality like a disease. I believe in treating others how you want to be treated and I don't think anybody would want to be treated in that way. That's kind of similar to the quiz we received in class which was intended for homosexual people. Now when we looked at it, we saw it as why would somebody think like this but it was actually a reality check because some would treat others in this way.

I think what I like most that you've mentioned is the idea that these people claim to be "God's chidren" and teach his work. When in fact they are acting the opposite. I think they take what they're doing way to far and might need to reevaluate how they go about things.
ReplyDeleteI like how you say that homosexuality is almost being treated like a disease, because that is totally true. I feel that this is seriously wrong and being homosexual, bisexual, or anything else is fine. I also like how you explained that God is not arrogant, rude, or boastful and the people in the video in class were being all of those things.
